The optical power in my right eye since 5th grade has been -4.5. So yes, I am one of those kids in school with thick glasses. The other day my sister said she needed to do heavy grocery shopping. Then she left home at about 11AM and guess what, she returned home with loads of groceries at about 4PM, without having lunch and the top of it, the grocery bill sky rocketed and she paid every penny from her purse.
