Bird Watcher Blog

I did tell in the previous article, how many birds began flocking to my garden. I generally get to see White Throated Sparrow, Robins, Mockingbird and a few doves. As we have changed houses, we do not get any more crows now and it is pretty rare to see them these days. Today morning, I usually cleaned the bird bath, placed the feed and got back home for doing the chores. My usual friends began flying in, and chirps became louder.

I heard my daughter shrieking. As I rushed out, I found my daughter pointing out her hand towards a tree. I found a woodpecker, which was marvelous and perched on top of the branch. We were very happy looking at it, and it was the most colorful sight early in the morning. As more hours passed, in addition to our regular visitors, we also had American GoldFinch and another bird which I couldn’t recognize. It was amazing to have so many birds visiting all at once. The sounds are still audible in my ear. It was the most beautiful scene that one could have asked for. I am very happy and wanted to share this news with all my readers. Hope I have more visitors every day!
