An old saying goes like this, “the easiest way to man’s heart is through his stomach”. The same adage holds good for birds too. The easiest way to become friends with birds is to feed them. This will make a bird trust you and thus guarantee you a very good bird watching experience. There can be a dilemma on the type of the seeds that are to be fed to birds. There is a large variety which is available in the market, but I prefer to use black oil sunflower seed. The best part of it is that it is small and hence can be easily cracked by birds. The other advantage is that it is high on protein content. First try with sunflower seeds and then one could move on to the other types. The best way is browse the internet to know the preference of seeds that each bird has! If men could have preference, then why not birds?!

Another important thing to be noted is that more than what you feed, your care and love is important. So the next time you begin to feed birds, remember to feed them like your children, this is the best attitude to connect with them.
